Rainforest Scratch & Sketch

Ignite fine motor skills and artistic creativity with Rainforest Scratch & Sketch: An Art Activity Book, an interactive multimedia craft volume written by Suzanne Beilenson and vibrantly illustrated by Martha Day Zschock. Published by Peter Pauper Press, this highly scannable activity book allows children to use an included wooden stylus to scratch away black-coated pages, revealing glittering colors and hidden patterns underneath. The text pairs these engaging drawing zones with introductory fun facts about tropical ecosystems, exotic birds, tree frogs, and jungle wildlife. By integrating a cross-disciplinary instructional blueprint that merges foundational natural science with tactile visual arts, this book serves as an excellent enrichment tool, sensory learning aid, and creative pastime for early childhood instructors, art educators, and young student groups.
